You’re invited! SMC Seattle Event – May 13, 2009
Starting Summer Early – Razorfish @ the Rowing Club!
Sponsored by Microsoft Live Search and the Lake Washington Rowing Club
Join Social Media Club Seattle for a lovely May evening at the Lake Washington Rowing Club! We’ll be joined by Jim Watson, VP/Managing Director at Razorfish’s Seattle headquarters. He’ll go over the Digital Media Outlook Report and cover some of the insights they’ve developed, share case studies that feature social media and talk about what worked and what didn’t. Then he and some other folks from his team will hold a Q&A session. Knowing the kind of people (like you!) who have been attending these events, the exchange should prove to be exciting and enlightening for both sides.
Date – Wednesday, May 13th , 2009
Time – 6:00-9:00
Location – Lake Washington Rowing Club, 910 N. Northlake Way (Seattle WA 98103)
Tickets – $15 at http://smcseattlemay.eventbrite.com/

There will be time for networking and discussion before and after the presentation — because the biggest value of SMC Seattle walks in the door when you do! More than just a networking event, the kind of connections and conversations that happen at these monthly sold-out gatherings have been diverse, creative, nothing short of game-changing. And in case that and the free drinks aren’t enough, Razorfish is bringing a special gift for the first 100 attendees.
Jim Watson joined Razorfish in December of 1999. As Vice President, Managing Director, Jim is responsible for all day-to-day operations for the firm’s Seattle office. He has extensive experience running teams of interactive marketing professionals across an array of business categories and clients like Disney, AT&T Wireless, Best Buy, and Weight Watchers. Jim brings over twelve years of driving business results with effective marketing programs on both the agency and client sides of business. Prior to Razorfish, Jim ran the Customer Relationship Marketing team at VoiceStream Wireless (now T-Mobile USA) and was a direct marketing consultant for clients like Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Hewlett Packard, and Pac Bell Wireless. He’s a proud father of three boys and holds a BA and MBA from the University of Washington.
